Hi, I’m Lauren.

I am a designer and creator based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. 

As an experiential graphic designer, I’m passionate about problem solving, inquisitive thinking & leading creative quests. As a graduate from the Visual Communication Design program at Ohio State University, I wasn’t introduced to environmental & experiential design until I joined the team at Kolar Design in 2018.  At Kolar, my introduction to experiential design grew into a passion to understand unique needs surrounding space & user experience. As I have worked on a wide variety of projects within many sectors, my favorite phase of each project is always creating & implementing the story that unfolds within it. I feed off of the energy & perplexity of cracking through tough strategic problems & enjoy building ideas on one another to create depth in user & overall experience. Outside of experiential design, I also have professional experience in & have passion for illustration, branding, photography & motion design - anything that pushes my creative limits.

In my free time, I enjoy cycling on the Little Miami Scenic Trail, recreational flying, and playing with any & all four-legged friends. I also love to experiment with color & up-cycle paper scraps in my @LittleRedMoleskine where I construct colorful collages of sketches, recycled paper, leaves, paint chips & so much more. One designer’s trash is another designer’s treasure & I am a firm believer.
