The Perfect Setting
This presentation was prepared by my team for the course Pricing Strategies. We were assigned to pick a company that is currently facing pricing challenges and use various methods we learned during the course to recommend and possibly implement. My team chose a local boutique, The Perfect Setting, to perform our analysis on. The boutique, which is located in Franklin, Tennessee, is very old-fashioned, with handwritten price tags, receipts, and invoices. The owner shared that the store has no pricing strategy and simply marks up the price to whatever gets a 0.95 price ending. My team analyzed various pricing methods and recommended what we felt would offer the most benefit to the store to ensure the owner is receiving as much value as possible from her sales. Our recommendations are currently being implemented at the boutique.
